Conduct

How you conduct yourself is of utmost Importance in this department. Negativity or drama of any kind will not be tolerated. If you are deemed to be the source of any drama, you will be suspended from the department until the situation is handled. Respect others the same way you would want for them to respect you.

Officers shall not mistreat persons who are in their custody. Officers shall handle such persons in accordance with law and departmental procedures. Officers will not, without proper authority, release any prisoner in their charge or through neglect or design, allow any prisoner in their charge to escape. No Officer within BCSO shall intentionally be subject to verbal or physical harassment of a sexual, ethnic, racial or religious nature.

If you do not follow this policy, disciplinary actions will be taken immediately!
